ABOUT ME

I started Alouette Coaching to help people feel more confident and to reach their performance potential.

My extensive training in coaching psychology, combined with my diverse experience in many countries, has enabled me to support people worldwide in their work and personal lives.

confidence is not a trick. It’s rooted in awareness of your values

background

  • ACC (ICF) accredited; MSc in psychology

  • Qualified to deliver and feedback on psychometric tests

  • Extensive coaching psychology training

My background is in communications - my experience includes the European Parliament in Brussels and a multinational communications agency in London. My experience in media relations, PR and branding reflects my passion for supporting individuals in the way they relate to others, and how they see themselves. I am committed to helping people feel more confident, grounded, and purposeful.

My areas of focus include the impostor phenomenon (aka ‘impostor syndrome’), leadership, organisational psychology, emotional intelligence, and psychological safety.

Today, I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) registered with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). My ACC status means I have the knowledge, skills and understanding of core coaching principles as recognised by the ICF.

With a MSc in psychology with a specialism in business with distinction from the University of Strathclyde, UK, I am committed to coaching based on science and strong ethical principles. As part of my MSc, I investigated the impostor phenomenon and psychological safety.

In addition, I am certified in Leadership Principles with Harvard Business School. This intensive programme helped me build on my passion for supporting entrepreneurs and leaders in the workplace. I also hold a IAFPD, British Psychological Society approved, primary certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and also in Coaching Psychology, both from the Centre for Coaching. I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate (PG Cert) in Coaching with the University of Chester.

I am qualified to deliver and feedback on psychometric tests for occupational use and am registered on the British Psychological Society’s register of qualified test users (RQTU). This means I can both administer personality profiles and explore psychometric personality profile results with my clients. I regularly use psychometric tools within my coaching to enhance the learning experience.

I am a member of the British Psychological Society, the International Society for Coaching Psychology, the International Coaching Federation, the Institute of Leadership and the National Academy of Coaching Psychology.

I have lived in many countries, including Chile, Syria, and Switzerland. I have volunteered with a land rights organization in Angola, with female political leaders in rural India and with Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. I’m a mother to three young children, and enjoy reading, swimming, and learning languages. I speak intermediate level Spanish, French and German, and recently learned to sign to BSL level 1.

(Please note that while I hold a MSc in psychology, I am not a clinical psychologist or therapist. I am unable to diagnose, treat or manage mental health disorders).
