What happens in a session?
The style and content of sessions are always tailored to the client.
Typically a session would begin with a general exploration of the issue at heart. Clients are encouraged to reflect in this neutral space. I will listen, playback your statements, invite you to reflect further, and challenge.
Depending on the issue and your personal learning style, you may be invited to try a tailor-made coaching exercise. This might be a guided illustration exercise, role play, a psychometric personality questionnaire, or questions aimed at shifting psychological perspective.
Coaching is not therapy. Sessions are focused on the present and the future. You will leave with clear, specific, goal-focused action plans.
Unlike therapy, coaching works on the basis that you are in generally sound mental health, and you just need a little motivation or a fresh perspective to help you get where you want to be.
Sessions take place via Zoom and are confidential.

Alouette coaching is rooted in mutual understanding, with a focus on tangible results.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which clients can explore their needs openly.
Alouette coaching is tailored to clients’ personal learning styles, and it draws on an extensive toolbox of coaching techniques. I take a holistic, evidence-based approach, incorporating Strengths-based Coaching, Motivational Interviewing and Change Management, as well as Cognitive Behavioural approaches where appropriate.
Sessions are goal oriented. I strive for clients to come away feeling a sense of a palpable change.
Finally, I take ethical responsibility seriously. I do not believe in the hard sell, and I will not offer a place on a coaching programme unless I feel it could add value. I am transparent with my pricing, and have my clients’ best interests at heart. I want clients to feel empowered, not dependent on coaching.

Calls take place via Zoom at a mutually convenient time, and subject to availability.

Firstly, contact me to book a free consultation (max 30 mins). In this consultation we will discuss your needs and preferences.

I ask you to commit to your coaching program, and I am unable to offer refunds. However, I understand that sometimes life emergencies get in the way, and I will do my best to reschedule sessions when necessary. Please try to give 24 hours notice.

While I am a strong believer in the power of coaching, depending on personal circumstances, it is not for everyone.
Furthermore, coaching is not therapy. If I feel I cannot help you, I will offer to refer you to a more appropriate qualified professional.
